Integrated Nutrition and Health Program
For Children, Adolescents, Women & Communities
Project POSHAN SHAKTI is a comprehensive nutrition and health initiative of Navraj Foundation aimed at improving the overall well-being of children, adolescents, women, and other vulnerable communities. Persistent challenges such as malnutrition, anemia, inadequate dietary practices, and limited access to preventive healthcare continue to adversely affect physical growth, cognitive development, learning outcomes, and quality of life, particularly among marginalized populations.
Navraj Foundation's intervention under Project POSHAN SHAKTI focuses on promoting balanced nutrition, strengthening maternal and child health, preventing anemia, and improving hygiene and preventive healthcare practices. The program delivers nutrition counseling, health awareness sessions, regular health screenings, and community outreach activities, while encouraging the adoption of nutritious, locally available foods and healthy lifestyle behaviors.
Through active community engagement, collaboration with frontline health workers, and sustained awareness initiatives, Project POSHAN SHAKTI seeks to reduce malnutrition, improve key health indicators, and build healthier, more resilient communities, contributing to long-term well-being and sustainable development.
